The Eddie Reid Memorial Library on Saturna Island was started in 1990 and is run by volunteers. The Library's book collection includes: fiction, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, humour, short stories, poetry, classical literature, young adult and children's books. There are also a number of topical non-fiction, biography and autobiography, reference and local history books. There is a collection of DVD movies as well as some audio books. To become a member, the Library requires proof of Saturna Island residency, identification and and a Saturna phone number.
