BC Aviation Museum
The BC Aviation Museum Society, located next to the Victoria International Airport, is dedicated to preserving aircraft and aviation artefacts. The museum collects, restores and displays aircraft and artefacts related to the history of aviation in Canada, with emphasis on British Columbia. In the Memorial Room you can find many artefacts from the wars that Canadians fought, either as members of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Flying Corps, or Royal Air Force. They have a historical display of the Pat Bay Airport as it was during its time as a Commonwealth Air Training Centre, complete with models of all the aircraft that were stationed there during those years.
Admission prices are here. There is a gift shop and Library and Archives that contains over 6000 titles of general and technical aviation books. Visitors are welcome, but membership is required to take full advantage of the facilities.
